JUNE MUSINGS

Seasonal stories and notable happenings from the team behind Ochre Botanical Studios.

Thank you for joining us here!

It’s June again! How did that happen?

It’s around this time of year that if you ask me about anything other than the next wedding on my agenda I simply can’t answer you.

I’ve been to Greggs so much I fear I may turn into a bacon roll, tuna salad lunches are such a staple that I moan about them every day yet keep making them, and my alarm never gets a day off. Would I change that for anything? Absolutely not.

This June, Ochre Botanical Studios have been to the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens, The Caves, Prestonfield, Carberry Tower, Borthwick Castle, Secret Herb Garden, Gleneagles Townhouse, Dalhousie Castle, the Botanic Gardens, the Free Company, The Biscuit Factory, and the Botanic Gardens a few more times. I may have missed some venues but the gist is… we’ve been busy!

Every weekend our group chat is abound with gorgeous work from my incredibly talented colleagues. I’m forever in awe of our work and flowers grown in Scotland. We’re regulars at the Scottish Growers Hub every Wednesday picking up our goodies for the important weekend ahead.

The season isn’t close to being over with July looking just as gorgeous. I’m sure I’m not the only one putting off certain admin tasks for another month.

Now, on to this week’s weddings…

Workshops

A reminder we still have a few spaces left on our summer workshops later in the season! All very relaxed and designed to be a fulfilling few hours spent filling your cup. You can find all the details on our website
